Welcome to the Highland Park Democratic Club
The Highland Park Democratic Club is a community space for local Democrats to connect, build relationships, and get involved in meaningful civic engagement. As the social arm of the Highland Park Democratic Committee, the club focuses on fostering community rather than formal party decisions or endorsements.
We bring people together through events, conversations, and grassroots activities that strengthen our local Democratic community. There is no cap on membership (other than being a registered Democrat in Highland Park), and we welcome anyone interested in meeting neighbors, sharing ideas, and building a more connected, engaged town.
What We Do
The club regularly hosts a variety of events, including:
• Q&A sessions with New Jersey gubernatorial candidates
• Election Night gatherings
• Community potlucks
• Local meetups and issue-based discussions
…and more to come.

We’re always excited to hear new ideas and to collaborate with members who want to help shape future programming. If you're interested in taking a more active role, consider joining the Highland Park Democratic Club Planning Committee. This group helps brainstorm, organize, and run the events listed above, from candidate Q&As to community socials and issue-based meetups.
Planning Committee members receive a separate email list with updates, meeting times, and opportunities to get involved. Anyone is welcome to join, and no prior experience is needed - just enthusiasm and a commitment to community.
