The deadline to register to vote for the June 10, 2025 primary election is May 20, 2025.

FIND YOUR POLLING LOCATION
If you don't know your polling location, go to this site and input your address:

If you cannot - or choose not to - vote at your polling location on Election Day, you have two alternatives:
Early In-Person Voting - Casting your vote in person at one of 10 early voting locations in Middlesex County
Voting By Mail - Request a vote-by-mail ballot and send it in by 8pm on Election Day.
EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING
Registered voters can cast their ballots in person using voting machines prior to Election Day. For the upcoming 2025 primary election these are the early voting dates and times:
Dates: Tuesday June 3 through Sunday, June 8
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am - 8pm, and Sunday 10am to 6pm
No appointment is necessary

VOTING BY MAIL
Any active, registered voter can request a vote-by-mail ballot.
To request a mail-in ballot:
Mail or call in a request to the Middlesex County Clerk no later than 7 days prior to election day. Links for the application to request a mail-in ballot, which is available in several languages, are provided below.

To vote using a mail-in ballot:
Mail-in ballots must be returned no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots can be returned any of the following ways:

An authorized ballot drop box - Deposited in one one of the county’s secure authorized ballot drop boxes. Highland Park’s is in front of Borough Hall (221 South 5th Ave).
US Mail. Must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. (We recommend sending it in advance of Election Day.)
